Learning to Market What We've Been Building

Learning to Market What We've Been Building

I have recently started posting regularly on LinkedIn, trying to promote Saauzi to business owners.

If you are new to my blog journal and don’t know what Saauzi is, it’s an AI-native business operating system and cloud ERP platform for small and medium-sized businesses in Nepal.

It’s been more than three years since we started working on this idea, and more than a year since we released its first version online.

Building something is one thing. Getting people to know about it, understand it, and eventually use it is another.

Over the past few years, alongside working on Saauzi with my co-founder, I’ve also been involved in freelance work and other projects. There have been plenty of things happening simultaneously, and building the product has naturally taken up a significant part of our time.

But I’ve gradually realised that building a product is only one part of running a business. People need to know that it exists, understand how it can help them, and eventually find a reason to use it.

So, I’ve now started dedicating almost half of my time to exploring and improving the channels that could help us reach more people.

This has led me to become more active on LinkedIn. I’ve started posting once every day, sharing thoughts and content around businesses, operations, and things that I believe could be helpful to business owners.

Let’s see how long I can keep this going!

Eventually, I’d love to build a community here where I can connect with business owners, share what I’ve learned, help them discover better ways to manage their businesses, and hopefully introduce them to Saauzi along the way.

There are also a few things coming up. We are hoping to release more applications into Saauzi soon, and I’m planning to work on launching our partner program in the coming month. I’m thinking of using LinkedIn to talk about that as well.

There is still a lot to figure out, especially when it comes to marketing and distribution. We’ve spent a considerable amount of time building what we have today, and now it’s time to put more effort into getting it out there.

I guess that’s another part of building a company that we’re learning along the way.

Let’s see where this takes us.
