If you want are a Minecraft lover and still figuring about how can you install Minecraft in your PC and play it. So, below is the process – install it and have fun.
Go to TLauncher Website
Once you are there then you need to click the “Download TL”
After that select your OS type:
After that you need to install JAVA – but sometimes in MAC you get JAVA inbuilt. If you are in WIndows and Linux you need to install JAVA. If java is not found in MAC you need to download it.
For Linux and MAC the download commands are:
1) Install Java:
sudo apt-get install openjdk-8-jre
2) After install JavaFX:
sudo apt-get install openjfx
For Windows you can download Java from the link below:
Note: (If you have Java 9 or 10, you need to install Java 8 and get the launcher to work from it,
or completely remove Java 9 or 10.)
Important Notes:
It is recommended that you run with root if you run without root privileges,
then there are problems with the graphics (gpu).
Run as follows:
- Navigate to the client folder using the CD command
- Running: sudo java -jar TLauncher-2.72.jar
Installation Error Rechecking Tip:
If the launcher did not start or an error occurred:
1) Install Java again by downloading the installer from the official site https://java.com/
(If you have Java 9 or 10, you need to install Java 8 and get the launcher to work from it,
or completely remove Java 9 or 10.)
